1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Maheen Academy's services, website, or enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Maheen Academy provides educational tutoring services including:

Mathematics tutoring for Grades 1-12
Science courses (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Technology programs (Python, SQL, Excel)
Homework help and academic support
Summer enrichment programs

3. Enrollment and Registration

Student Registration

Students must be registered before attending sessions
Parental consent is required for students under 18
Accurate information must be provided during registration
Registration is subject to availability and program capacity

Program Selection

Programs are selected based on student needs and assessment
Program changes require advance notice
Some programs may have prerequisites or age requirements

4. Payment Terms

Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD)
Payment is due before or at the time of service
We accept cash, cheque, and electronic payments
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

Late Payments

Late payments may result in service suspension
Outstanding balances must be settled before continued enrollment

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Session Cancellations

24-hour advance notice required for session cancellations
Late cancellations may result in full session charge
Emergency cancellations will be handled case-by-case

Refunds

Full refunds available within 7 days of enrollment
Partial refunds for unused sessions (less administrative fee)
No refunds for completed sessions or used materials
Refund processing takes 5-10 business days

6. Attendance and Conduct

Student Attendance

Regular attendance is expected for optimal learning
Students should arrive 5 minutes before scheduled sessions
Excessive absences may affect program continuation

Behavior Standards

Respectful behavior toward staff and other students
No disruptive or inappropriate conduct
Violation of conduct standards may result in dismissal

7. Academic Progress and Assessment

While we strive for academic improvement, we cannot guarantee specific grades or test scores. Our commitment includes:

Regular progress assessments and feedback
Communication with parents about student progress
Adaptation of teaching methods to student needs
Professional and qualified instruction

8. Health and Safety

We prioritize the health and safety of all students and staff:

Students should not attend if they are ill
Emergency contact information must be current
We follow applicable health and safety guidelines
Accidents or incidents will be documented and reported

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

10. Limitation of Liability

Maheen Academy's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
